July was a slow month for Whatcom County residential sales. Last month in July, Real Estate Agents sold 187 homes and condominiums in Whatcom County, the lowest monthly total since February. Muljat Group Agent, Lylene Johnson, says, “Tax Credit hangover is a big factor in drop”. One potential attraction to homebuyers- low interest rates- doesn’t seem to be drawing much attention.
